Osun State Commissioner of Police, AIG Olawale Olokode has ordered immediate investigation into the circumstances surrounding the gruesome kidnap and murder of Babaloja of Ora Igbomina, Chief Oladepo Asaolu.
It was gathered that the Osun State Police Command has sent some Pathologists to conduct autopsy on the remains of Chief Oladepo Asaolu who was killed by some suspected killers.
According to report, a motorcyclist, Sunday Johnson who is a tenant to the late Chief had arranged for his (the deceased) kidnapping before he went to lure him to his farm early in the morning of October 5, 2022
Sunday Johnson was alleged to have collected N1 million from the kidnapper, who eventually killed Mr. Asaolu in his farm at Akisa forest.
The police were reported to have caught Johnson after a discrete investigation. It was also gathered that he has taken the police and detectives to the venue where they deposited the dead body of the victim.
