Osun United hail Sunday Dare’s Emergence as the Sports Minister

The management of Osun United has described the emergence of Hon Sunday Dare as the Minister of Sports as a round peg in the round hole, saying the entire sports sector will benefit from his wealth of experience.

A statement by the President of Osun United, Chief Ademola Adesina described the “Ogbomoso born” media guru as a true “Omoluabi” (virtuous person) whose administrative competence is sacrosanct for the positive turnaround of sports sector in the country.

“It’s a welcome development for all of us in the South West for Hon Dare to head this powerful Ministry after so many years. We believe his emergence as the Sports Minister, which was through a divine grace was a dream come true for all stakeholders in the sporting arena”, submitted, the former Super Eagles midfielder.

“We congratulate him and assure him of our full support to succeed in the most vociferous ministry of the Federal Republic of Nigeria”.

“am happy to hear that he had swung into action with the inspection of M.K.O Abiola Stadium, Abuja which shows that he is ready for the challenges ahead. It now behooves on all of us to rally round him to be able to succeed in implementing the ministry’s programmes and policies”, submitted Chief Adesina.

It would be recalled that Hon Sunday Dare was last week confirmed by President Muhammadu Buhari as the Minister of Sports.
