
The state Deputy Governor, Mr Benedict Alabi and his wife, Mrs Oyefunke Alabi have cast their votes at Ward 6,Polling Unit 7,Baptist Primary School, Sango Ikire.
The Deputy Governor while speaking with OSBC News shortly after exercising his franchise described the process and the turn-out of voters as impressive.
He eulogized the electoral body for the logistics put in place while describing the use of BIVAS technology as a welcome innovation that enhances the conduct if the poll.
He expressed satisfaction with the level of security put in place and the conduct of the electorates at the poll.
“The process is impressive and overwhelming. We believe the INEC will build on this,” said the Deputy Governor
Similarly, Osun state house of assembly speaker, honourable Timothy Owoeye has commended the comportment and conduct of voters in Ilesa. Honourable Owoeye gave the commendation while speaking with journalists shortly after he cast his ballot at unit 6 ward 10 Orogba Ilesa.

The speaker specifically lauded the officials of Inec and security operatives for carrying out the election assignments in line with the stipulated process.
Honourable Owoeye said “the Independent National Electoral Commission has set a standard.” I also salute the massive turned out of the voters in this ward and I hope the process would at the end be fair and credible.”
Some of the voters who spoke with OSBC scored the process of the election high starting from the accreditation and other related obligatory exercise.
The security situation in Ilesa metropolis was intact as security operatives were seen mounting strategic areas to maintain law and order.
