Governor Gboyega Oyetola has described women as the custodian of votes in election matters.
The governor stated this while hosting APC women leaders in the state who came to felicitate with him on his triumph at the appellate court.
Governor Oyetola said women do not betray, play political pranks or defects from one party to another at will, promising that his administration will reach out to women to make life comfortable for them.
The governor disclosed that he did not mourn when the tribunal gave its dissenting judgment knowing fully well that he would triumph at the appellate court, as he look forward to another victory at the supreme court.
He however thanked women for their efforts all the time.
Earlier, APC women leader in Osun Alhaja Kudrat Fakokunde had appreciated the women folk for their efforts in the race towards emergence and subsequent election of the governor.
She however sought more support for women to reciprocate their diligence and endurance throughout the electoral process.
While urging parents to ensure that their children have the best of education, Alhaha Fakokunde emphasized that the positions of authority are for those that are educated experienced and intelligence.
