PDP Gains Ground As Osun APP Collapses Structure To PDP, Backs Atiku

The Osun State chapter of the All Peoples Party (APC) has collapsed its structures into the Peoples Democractic Party (PDP), declaring support for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and all PDP candidates.

Led by the State Chairman Hon Odesola Oluseye Titus , the APP leaders were at the State Secretariat of the PDP today at Osogbo to make the declaration and direct all its local government structures to vote for PDP on Saturday and in March.

He said the decision of the APP leaders to back Alhaji Abubakar was due to his national outlook and good economic programmes for the state.

” We are also joining force with PDP because of our Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke. His performance in the last two months is super impressive. Governor Adeleke has shamed critics by his delivery and contributions.

” Many are surprised at the Governor’s performance. Just go out and sample people’s viewpoints. Ademola is the talk of the town.

” With Adeleke’s Performance alone, Atiku Abubakar will win Osun. What the Governor is doing on worker’s welfare, roads, water and others are quite impressive. So we must join hands with him to make Osun a total PDP state.

” I hereby direct all our structures across the 30 local governments to work and mobilize for PDP candidates. We must reward good work of Governor Adeleke by ensuring Atiku and other PDP candidates win”, the party Chairman stated.

Responding, the representative of the State Chairman of PDP, Alhaji Mustapha Sikiru commended the decision of the APP leadership.

” We appreciate your decision and we call on our members across the local governments to accommodate the APP members”, Alhaji Sikiru noted.
