Governor Adegboyega Oyetola this evening in Abuja, attended a meeting of South-West governors and National Assembly members from the region. They discussed the ongoing constitution amendment exercise and other sundry issues.
At the end of the meeting, they resolved to set up a committee comprising caucus leaders in both houses of the National Assembly and commissioners of justice in all South West states, to further harmonise the positions of the region on certain issues pertaining the amendment of Nigeria’s Constitution.
Earlier in the day, Governor Oyetola attended an emergency meeting of the APC Caretaker Committee, where they looked at emerging issues within the party.
