Police arrest 10 suspected cultists

The Police in Abuja have arrested 10 suspected members of the Supreme Vikings Confraternity aka Aro Bager, at  Angwan Dadi, Nyanya, a satellite town in the Federal Capital Territory.

The police spokesman,  DSP Anjuguri Manzah, in a statement on Sunday, said the suspects were nabbed at 11.30pm  on Friday during the group’s meeting.

The suspects’ names were given as Godwin Samson, 21; Chisom Anakom, 25; Jonathan Ibinabo, 21; Oneh Chibueze, 25;  Anyan Christian, 23;  Moses Ogun, 23 and Emmanuel Ugwu, 18.

Others are Monday Bitrus, 19, Yerima Michael, 26 and Uwana Okpo, 19.

It said, “Two cutlasses, one long hammer, one pinches, and one iron bar were recovered from the suspects. They will be arraigned after investigation.”
