Police beef up security at Ondo Assembly

Many men of the Ondo State Police Command were on Tuesday morning sighted at the state House of Assembly complex.

This came barely 48 hours after the state Deputy Governor, Mr Agboola Ajayi, defected to the Peoples Democratic Party from the ruling All Progressives Congress.

It was gathered that the policemen were deployed in the Assembly complex following the information that the lawmakers might have a rowdy session today.

The police patrol vehicles were seen parked inside and outside the Assembly complex.
