Police Commissioner commends Osun people for peaceful election

The commissioner of police in the state, Mrs Abiodun Ige has commended Osun people for the peaceful conduct of the election.

The Police Commissioner gave the commendation in a chat with OSBC News Reporter, Oluchi Amuda at St John Elementary school, Ikire, the Collation Center for Irewole/Isokan State Constituency.

The Police Boss noted that her monitoring team has visited nearly all the polling units in the state and nothing was amiss. Mrs Ige reiterated the commitment of the police in ensuring the security of lives and property, before during and after the election. She warned miscreants who might be planning to forment trouble to stay away from collation centers as security agents are fully on ground to deal with Electoral offenders. 

The Osun police Commissioner also called on politicians to call their supporters to order, most especially when winners are declared and not hide under the guise of jubilation to disrupt public peace.
