PSC APPOINTS SIX DIGS, PROMOTES 14 CPS

The Police Service Commission (PSC) has approved the appointment of six Deputy Inspectors General of Police (DIG) to proceed on pre-retirement leave.

Statement by the head of press and public relations, of the Commission, Ikechukwu Ani in Abuja, the remaining four are to replace the four retired digs and also form part of the IGPS management team made up of seven digs.

The commission also approved the promotion of 14 Commissioners of Police to the next rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police. The appointments and promotions were the high points of the commission’s 6th plenary meeting held in Abuja and chaired by Musiliu Smith, the Chairman of the Commission.
