THE Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Walid Jibrin, on Thursday, expressed confidence that the Bukola Saraki-led National Reconciliation Committee, will achieve its set objectives.

Jibrin spoke after a meeting between the Saraki Committee and members of the BoT at the PDP Legacy House, Maitama, Abuja.

He said, “We have given our own recommendations to him in order to make the report very rich.  With the quality of committee members in this undertaking, we are sure that the PDP will return stronger and we will win in the 2023 election.

“We are giving them 100 per cent support to carry out this assignment. They are fearless. They should not fear anybody, and no issue of money should be involved in this exercise. We trust Senator Bukola Saraki.”

In his remarks, Saraki said, “We are going to reach out to everybody. Everybody matters, everybody has a role to play. As I said yesterday, we started the process with the former president, former governors and deputies. Today, we are meeting with the BOT, former leaders of the National Assembly, former founding fathers.”

Meanwhile, the party has lifted the suspension earlier placed on some of its National Assembly members. This was contained in a statement titled, “PDP Lifts Suspension on Elumelu, Toby Okechukwu, Others,” signed by the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbodinyan, on Thursday.
