Save us from robbers, Ogun students beg Abiodun

The National Association of Nigerian Students, Ogun State branch, has appealed to Governor Dapo Abiodun to save students from frequent robbery attacks happening on different campuses, especially in Ogun East Senatorial district of the state.

NANS lamented that students in tertiary institutions, especially in the eastern part of the state, were now living in fear over incessant robberies.

The NANS Chairman in the state, Adeyemi Ajasa, made this appeal while addressing journalists in Abeokuta.

Ajasa, who commended the governor for his efforts in the education sector, however, urged him to pay serious attention to the security of the students.

He said, “Sir, as your children, we will continue to ask for more, but, this time, it borders on the security of students, especially in the Ogun East Senatorial District of the state, as robbery is gradually becoming the order of the day in that area. Sir, in your usual responsive attitude, please do something urgently.”
