SPORTS COMMISSIONER VISITS OSUN UNITED’S TRAINING,SAYS 3SC ARE BEATABLE IN IBADAN

Commissioner for Sports and Youth Engagement in the State of Osun, Hon Yemi Lawal has charged Osun United to take their zeal for success to Ibadan against 3sc and cage the Oluyole Warriors in their backyard.

Hon. Lawal, who gave the charge during his visit to the Osogbo Township Stadium, the training ground of the team on Wednesday morning said 3sc are beatable in Ibadan if all things being equal.

“It’s a thing of joy as you remain unbeaten in the league following the back to back victories over Ekiti United and FC Nilayo. I commend the players, the coaching crew and the management as well as fans and supporters for the job well done. However, the race has just begun and you have to carry that winning mentality to Ibadan to shock the Oluyole Warriors. I urge you to put in more efforts particularly at away matches beginning from this weekend in Ibadan”.

“We have done the needful in terms of putting smiles in your faces while we shall ensure that you are properly motivated before your journey to Ibadan to ensure that no stone is left unturned in our plan to make the team better than it was”, concluded Hon Lawal.

President of the club, Chief Ademola Adesina in his remarks lauded the commissioner for being a strong pillar of the club’s consecutive victories and assured him of more successes while the team’s skipper, Akeem Olalere appreciated the visit and the words of encouragement. He further appealed to the commissioner to help solve other teething challenges of the club.
