Tribunal: Osun PDP Alleges APC Of Media Trial

The Osun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has accused the All Progressives Congress of resorting to media trial regarding their petition against the victory of Senator Ademola Adeleke in the July 16 governorship poll.
This is contained in a statement by the Osun PDP Caretaker Chairman, Dr Akindele Adekunle made available to newsmen in Osogbo through the party’s Director of Media and Publicity, Oladele ‘Bamiji.
The statement alleged APC of sponsoring falsified election analysis as well as several tactics to move the tribunal sitting to Abuja.
The PDP however noted that “media trial is an insult to the judiciary that has demonstrated readiness to discharge its responsibilities without fear or favour.”
The PDP therefore reiterated its respect for judiciary and expressed optimism that the judiciary would resist any attempt to deny people their rights to decide who leads them.
