Distinguished Ladies of Valour , Akoni Obinrin Osun, under the umbrella of the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun will tomorrow, Tuesday, embark on solidarity walk in support of the APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima.
The endurance trek which was conceived by the ladies of valour popularly known as ‘Akoni Obinrin’, was designed to further demonstrate the unalloyed support and solidarity of Osun women to ensure all round victory for the party’s Presidential Candidate and his running mate.
In a statement signed by the Chairperson of the Executive Committee of the group who is also the Commissioner of Information and Civic Orientation, Mrs Funke Egbemode, noted that the women will assemble at Government House, GRA, Osogbo by 7:00am where the walk is expected to take off.
According to her, the ruling party women leaders across all levels are expected to join the team as part of efforts to further mobilize massively for the success of the party in the next year’s general elections.
