In separate interviews with Al Jazeera, the leaders of Sudan’s rival military forces have refused to negotiate with each other, as fighting continues for a sixth day.
The comments by army chief General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and his chief rival, Rapid Support Forces (RSF) leader General Mohamed Hamdan “Hemedti” Dagalo, dimmed hopes of a lasting ceasefire.
