APC wins in Kebbi

Kebbi State Governor, Atiku Bagudu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been declared winner of the gubernatorial election in Kebbi by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The results were announced at the state collation centre for by the collation officer for governorship and state assembly elections, professor Hamisu Bichi, in Birnin Kebbi.

He said Governor Bagudu of APC scored 673,717 votes, while his rival,  Senator Isah Galaudu of PDP polled 106,633 votes.

Similarly, the Independent National Electoral Commission has the national secretary of APC, Alhaji Mai Mala Buni the governor elect of Yobe State.

The returning officer for the election, Professoe Abubakar Musa Kundiri who announced the result said Mai Mala Buni of APC scored  444, 013 beating his PDP opponent Ambassador Umar Damagum of PDP who polled 95, 703 votes.
