The football team of OSBC will today Thursday, 21st March, 2019 trade tackles with the Soccer Team of Osun State University (UNIOSUN) in a friendly match.
The encounter will take place at the Football Pitch of the main Campus of the University, situated in Oke Baale, Oshogbo.
This will be the first meeting between the two sides, who were kept apart last year in the Civil Service Games organized by the State Government of Osun.
Speaking on the match, co-ordinator of OSBC FC, Alhaji Muideen Adeleke said “it’s going to be an interesting encounter between the two sides and will serve as a preparation for the upcoming Civil Service Games, whose maiden edition was won by OSBC”.
“We are also going to use the game as a warm-up for this year’s NUJ Inter Chapel Soccer Competition which OSBC is willing to win for keep, having emerged champions in the last two editions”.
Alhaji Adeleke, who appreciated the management of the corporation for the support to the team, promised good outings in all the tournaments holding this year for all Ministries, Departments and Agencies across the state of Osun.#
