Afro-soul star, Aituaje Iruobe known as Waje wants to quit doing professional music.
She announced this move in a now-viral video, stating that the high cost of publicity and low album sales as reasons she want to quit, she said she is not prepared to invest in her musical career any longer.
In the viral video, Waje said, After everybody shouted Waje your last album was how many years ago, please we need an album. “Where are all the people that were shouting”?
The afro-soul star was emphatic that she doesn’t have the money for publicity as her daughter’s school fees needs to be paid.
She said, “my music is taking the bulk of my money , am not willing to put my money there anymore”.
