Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, has reassured Deltans and workers of his administrations to uplift their living standards and sustainable development of the State.
He disclosed this in Asaba while receiving the new Executive Council members Trade Union Congress, TUC in the state; He told organized labour to always disseminate appropriate information to the workers to create industrial harmony in the polity.
He further said there has to be a lot partnership between government and workers; when partnership is real, the people will enjoy the benefits of the government.
He said his administration would pay the new minimum wage once negotiations between the Federal Government and organized labour were finalized.
