The management of Osun United appreciates Football Association (F.A) Chairman in the. State, Chief Abdulrasaq Mustapha Ajiroba Ooni for his roles towards ensuring smooth participation of Osun Babes in the Nigeria Women Premier League which begins tomorrow Wednesday, 18th March, 2020.
The management, in a statement by the President Chief Ademola Adesina through the Vice President, Mr. Layi Adesiyan describes the Chairman’s gesture as timely and laudable to ensure that Osun Babes are not left behind in taking part in the league.
“We commend efforts of Chief Mustapha Ajiroba Ooni for always lending his helping hands to the State’s teams. He is a good leader who knows where shoes pinch and always ready to soften the dried land.”
As we thank him for this gesture, we call on other eminent personalities in the state to emulate Chief Ajiroba Ooni who believes that government alone cannot do it all, hence complementing the government’s efforts from his widow’s mite,” submitted Mr. Adesiyan
Osun Babes will tomorrow 4pm slug it out against Adamawa Queens in the opening encounter of the 2020 Nigeria Women Premier League (NWPL) at the Oshogbo Township Stadium.
