inister of Interior who was a former Governor of Osun state has blamed the recent disclosures from the state Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke on the administration of Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola.
A statement signed by his Media aide, Mr. Sola Fasure said the situation would have been avoided if the Oyetola’s administration had set up a transition committee and cooperated well with the then incoming governor.
According to the statement that would have allowed both parties to compare notes and prevented rancour stating that instead of that landmines were being created for the new government by the Oyetola’s administration.
It explained with certainty that if the government of Ademola Adeleke takes the matter up to the EFCC, there would be problems for the Oyetola’s administration.
While admitting that his administration took loans, Mr Aregbesola said the two major ones he took had been liquidated while the remaining ones are long term concessional facilities given to the State by the federal government with minimal monthly deductions.
