In their quest to discover young, budding talents from the grassroot and nurture them to stardom, Hammola International Football Club Ido Osun have given a league appearance to another youngest soccer sensation, Daramola Olasunkanmi.
Daramola, who is not up to 13 years is a product of Hammola Feeders FC and one of the star players discovered in 2020 during the u-13 football Championship which held in Osogbo, Osun state.
In the competition, Daramola scored several goals and created assists as Hammola Feeders beat …. For the trophy.
He made his league debut in Hammola’s fifth game of the ongoing Nationwide League One game against HMK FC which ended goalless at the Osogbo township stadium on Tuesday, May 16
Speaking about Daramola, Head Coach of Hammola FC, Jamiu Mudathir said “he can play as a striker, from right, left wing, as well as behind the striker. He could as well play in the midfield too as he’s just such a young, good player”.
“He is an asset. If he keeps going the way he’s going, he will, in no distant time become one of the national team players,” said Coach Mudathir.
