The State Government of Osun has announced the death of 2 confirmed cases; 1 in Ede and the other in Ile-Ife. This was disclosed during a Press Briefing with Governor Adegboyega Oyetola at the Government house today.
He appealed with Security officials not to compromise with the security of the State. He further stressed the compulsory use of face masks across the State.
The Governor clarified that the death cases were imported. They were not through community transmission. He further appealed to citizens to take Government instructions about the spread of the virus seriously.
The two who have died came from Lagos. The State would follow NCDC protocol strictly to carry out their burial.
