Governor of Osun, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola will tomorrow officially commision the State Integrated Financial Management Information System (SIFMIS), an application built to automate the state’s financial management system.
According to a statement signed by the Commissioner for Finance, Mr Bola Oyebamiji, the application built through the support of the European Union and World Bank will among other things make the state’s budgetary process easier and faster.
The commissioning ceremony which will take place at the Premises of the Accountant General’s Office by 3pm will also be attended by the Speaker of State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye as well as other top government functionaries.
Other invited guests are expected to be on seat before 3pm with their face masks and adhere to other COVID-19 safety protocols.
