Royal Family Gathers Amid Concerns For Queen Elizabeth’s Health

Queen Elizabeth II’s closest family travelled to join the 96-year-old monarch on Thursday after doctors placed her under medical supervision, prompting concern from British political and religious leaders.

British royals including Queen Elizabeth’s grandson Prince William and her sons Princes Andrew and Edward have arrived in Scotland by plane to be with the ailing monarch, television footage has showed.

All the Queen’s children, as well as Princes William and Harry, are either at or travelling to the estate

Queen Elizabeth II’s doctors are concerned about the health of the UK monarch and recommend she remain under supervision, Buckingham Palace said.
The queen was “comfortable” and remained at Balmoral Castle in Scotland, the palace said, as immediate family travelled to be by her side, including Prince Charles, heir to the British throne.
