Nigeria’s Super Falcons will today lock horns against Belgium in a make or mar clash as both sides seek to qualify for the quarterfinals of the on-going Cyprus Women’s cup tournament in Larnaca.
The Nigerian ladies lost their group c opener four one to Austria, after which they beat Slovakia four three in the second group game.
They will now face a tougher opponent Belgium‚ who recorded a three nil victory over Slovakia and played a goalless draw with Austria in their second games.
Falcons, the 9-time African champions will need an outright victory against Belgium who is currently sitting at the second position behind group c leaders Austria to qualify for the next round.
The
match between the Super Falcons and Belgium as well as Slovakia and Austria clash
will kick off by 5pm Nigerian time.
