Association of Veteran Journalists in the state has congratulated the governor, Sen. Ademola Adeleke on his 100 days in office.
A statement by the Association’s lmage Maker, Adetoyese Shittu-Alamu described the steps taken by the new administration so far as bold, responsive and people-oriented.
lt referred particularly to the promise made by the governor to start paying the half salaries the Aregbesola administration left behind many years back and
commended the governor for the two payments paid workers and non- contributory pensioners in the state.
Associaton of Veteran Journalists prayed the new administration will continue to give hope to the desires of the people.
It equally enjoined the governor to speed up the process of appointing Comissioners and Advisers to help run the affairs of the state, stressing that democracy has no room for one man rule under any guise.
