Garba of Tabki village, Faskari Local Government Area of the state and Adamu of Dan-Aji village, also in the same council are members of a seven-member gang, who allegedly kidnapped  one Alhaji Musa Sale and Alhaji Sani Alhaji Hari, both of Dan-Aji village and took them to Ladduga forest in Zamfara State.

The gang reportedly collected a ransom of N2.5 million before their victims were released.

The police told the Magistrate Court that a joint team of the police and vigilante in Faskari Local Government Area arrested Garba on April 7, 2020 following a tip-off.

He was said to have confessed during interrogation that he and other members of the gang kidnapped Alhaji Sale and Alhaji Hari and took them to the gang leader, whose name was given as Alhaji Karki inside Ladduga forest.
