The chief whip of the senate, professor Olusola Adeyeye has denied his reported resignation as chairman, senate ad-hoc committee on minimum wage
It had been widely publicized that Sen. Adeyeye quit his position due to health conditions and that the senate was ‘shopping’ for his replacement.
But in a statement in Abuja, professor Adeyeye described the report as false.
On his health condition, he said the report on his health has falsely alarmed his loved ones.
It would be recalled that at the resumption of plenary last Tuesday, the Senator gave an update on the bill stressing that the committee had not been able to form quorum due to the elections.
