The All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state of Osun has reacted to the verdict of an Abuja high court which disqualified Senator Ademola Adeleke from contesting the state governorship election of 2018.
The party described the verdict as a victory for the state, stressing that Osun deserves to have a better leader who is well-informed and educated as its governor.
APC director of publicity, Research and Strategy, Mr. Kunle Oyatomi maintained this stance in a statement in osogbo.
He recalled that, long before independence, Osun has produced intellectual giants and exceptionally brilliant businessmen and technocrats including jurists of international standard.
The APC publicity director contended that the verdict is pointer to the fact that Osun can depend on Nigerian’s jurisprudence to uphold justice at the most critical point.
