The widely celebrated Aragbiji of Iragbiji land, Oba Abdur-Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi, Odundun IV on Thursday 24th February, 2022 joined His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife, His Excellency Adegboyega Oyetola, Governor of Osun State and other distinguished personalities in receiving the former Governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Ooni’s Palace. It was a carnival of sort.
The National Leader of the country’s ruling Party,the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, paid a Royal visit to the Palace of the Ooni to solicit blessings and support for his 2023 Presidential ambition.
The exceptional Political leader appreciated the people for the warm reception and their support to the Political Party which is dedicated and committed to bringing further development to the nation. He also appreciated them for the just concluded APC Primary election where His Excellency Adegboyega Oyetola emerged victorious and urge them to keep supporting the charismatic leader to enjoy further growth in the nation. He then gave special appreciation to the Governor, members of his cabinet and the Royal Fathers present for standing by and with the Governor even in the face of threats to the peace of the State.
Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu then charged the youths to be more of people of character, capacity, tolerance and peacemakers to show their readiness to takeover the leadership of this nation even as he himself associated himself with the youths. He further urged them not to allow their religious faith be a cause for disunity, rather they should work together to promote our nation. “Use your strength to promote peace, prosperity, capacity and stability in the nation”, he said.
His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife, and other Royal Fathers prayed for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his success at the 2023 Presidential election even as they pledge their support to him.
HRM Aragbiji expressed delight to have been honored to be one of the special guests to receive the great National Leader of APC into the State and he appreciated the former Governor of Lagos State for the immense contributions he has made towards moving the nation forward. Asiwaju remains “An outstanding leader with a large heart” said Aragbiji.
Lastly, Oba Olabomi prayed for his success at the Presidential election and encouraged the people having heard words from a man with good intentions for the nation to use their voting rights wisely come 2023 and put the right man in office so that Nigerians can have a round peg in a round hole. He also appealed to the Ruling Political Party to give Asiwaju Bola Tinubu who is prepared for the job the Presidential Ticket of the Party.
