Notwithstanding the low turnout of voters, today’s election has been peaceful and orderly in all the units visited by OSBC news crew in Ifelodun State Constituency.

Findings by OSBC electoral monitoring crew in Ifelodun State Constituency led by Lateef Agboola during visits to different polling units in Ward 12 in Eko-Ende; Ward 9 and 10 Iba; Ward 11, Obaagun and wards 1 to 8 in Ikirun township, indicate a peaceful environment with orderliness and amity among various party agents.

OSBC news crew came across a federal legislator, former council chairmen and secretaries across political divides among other stakeholders, who lent credence to the fact that the election is going smoothly without rancour or acrimony.

The INEC officials also conduct themselves in orderly manner while security agents, including soldiers, police, NSCDC, FRSC, among others exhibit a high level of professionalism and civility.

However, there was a pocket cases of BVAS malfunctioning earlier but which was later addressed.

As at the time of filing this report, voting has concluded in some polling units with stakeholders waiting for counting just as voting was underway in other polling units.

The Sheriki Hausawa of Ikirun, Alhaji Abubakar Balarabe, confirmed that there was no rancour nor acrimony among the Hausa community and their host in Ikirun, stressing that the INEC provided a level playground for all the electorate to perform their civic duty unhindered and without any form of discrimination
