Chairman of All Progressives Congress in the State of Osun, prince Gboyega Famodun has congratulated members of the new State house of assembly who were sworn in Osogbo.
The Chairman however challenged the legislators to continue the tradition of positive engagement with the executive arm of government in the best interest of good governance.
The congratulatory message was contained in a statement from the party’s secretariat signed by its publicity director Mr. Kunle Oyatomi.
The Osun APC Chairman urged the lawmakers to brace up for hard work, because the challenges ahead will stretch their abilities to the limits.
According to prince Famodun, the success achieved in governance during the last eight years was significant due to the pragmatic and harmonious working relationship between Governor Rauf Aregbesola and the previous house of assembly.
He drew the attention of the legislatures to the huge security challenges facing the state and the country at large and urged them to think outside the box to proffer lasting solutions.
