The Federal Government will be conferring integrity awards on some deserving Nigerians as part of activities to mark the nation’s 60th anniversary.
This is one of the highlights of activities for the anniversary prepared by the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, a copy of which was seen by our correspondent on Wednesday.
According to the schedule, the award ceremony slated for Monday, September 28, 2020 was packaged to be part of the launching of the National Ethics and Integrity Policy.
The integrity award to be conferred by the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), is said to be in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission.
The venue and names of the beneficiaries were however not indicated in the schedule.
