Police said five masked attackers have robbed a coffee shop in the German central town of Oberursel, with a machine gun and gas to haul out several thousand euros in cash,
At slightest one of the people in the cafe at the time of the robbery suffered respiratory issues as a result and had to be brought to a hospital for treatment ,in a statement from the police.
The masked attackers took around 9,000 dollars in cash from the coffee shop’s register and from people in the cafe before leaving the scene in a car.
The robbery took place outside of the cafe’s official opening hours and that the people inside had been acquaintances of the cafe’s owners a police spokesman said
The attackers are still at large and police have launched a manhunt with the assistance of a helicopter.
