Governor Adeleke Assures Security Agencies In Osun Of Maximum Support

Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has reiterated his administration resolve to continue to support the Security services in Osun State, noting that only a secured society can enhance his delivery of good governance for Osun state people.

Governor Adeleke Stated this at Osun State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps,Oke Ayepe Osogbo during the Passing Out Ceremony On Weapon Handling and Unveiling of Emergency Response Lines Towards 2023 Electioneering .

The Governor who was represented at the occasion by the Secretary to the State Government of Osun Hon Teslim Igbalaye maintained that, his administration is focus on “creating synergy among the Security services for the common protection of the Osun people.”

“We’ve observed that Inter-agency rivalry is doing great disservice to the execution of service mandates.”

“We urged you to call for an urgent meeting of heads of security agencies in order to find a lasting solution to inter-agency competition and seeming confrontation.”

Governor Adeleke further disclosed that the meeting should look deeply into the matter of rivalry and create a new template for interaction, cooperation and partnership among the services.

While imploring the new NSCDC cadets to uphold the tenets of the service and maintain adherence to professionalism,Governor Adeleke said,the Civil Defence Corps is one of the strong pillars of national security and the closest to the grassroots.

Also Speaking,the Commandant of the NSCDC in Osun State,Commandant Agboola Sunday said for the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Osun State to effectively discharge and meet the security expectation of residents of Osun State necessitated the rolling out of emergency lines that can be call 24/7 for their prompt action.

Commandant Agboola assured that ,as it’s enshrine in the NSCDC act 2003 and 2007, to protect Critical National Assets and Infrastructure against theft and vandalism,crisis and disaster management , NSCDC personnel are adequately trained and equiped to handle security matters before ,during and after the up coming general elections.

He also maintained that the success of the present administration led by Governor Ademola Adeleke in maintaining a peaceful atmosphere in Osun State is a major concern and the Civil Defence are ready to give necessary support .

Part of the activities at the event is the various demonstration by the new cadet and Unveiling of the NSDC emergency lines which are 08055555644 and 07041300031
