
The management of Lagos Airport Hotel Limited, Ikeja, said that the Italian who allegedly introduced the coronavirus into the country had not slept in his hotel.
According to media reports, the Italian, who was on a business trip to Lafarge Plc, had stayed at the hotel in Lagos.
But Kayode Bakare, the managing director of Lagos Airport Hotel Ltd, said in a statement on Monday that the Italian had never stayed at the hotel.
The management of Lagos Airport Hotel Limited, Ikeja, wishes to state categorically that at no time did the Italian who was in Nigeria on a business meeting at the Lafarge Plc lodge at the Lagos Airport Hotel Limited, Ikeja.

Bakare urged Nigerians, especially hotel guests, to ignore reports that the Italian was staying at the hotel.
