Residents of Inisa in Odo-Otin Local Government Area of the state have lauded Governor Adegboyega Oyetola on the ongoing rehabilitation of the Inisa Township Road after over several years of disrepair.
According to residents, the town’s major road last experienced government’s intervention between 1976 and 1978.
Residents lamented the untold hardship the Ajegunle-Oba Fasikun Road had caused over the years, commending Governor Oyetola for extending the dividend of democracy to the town.
This is as the Campaign Committee of the All Progressives Congress in Ifelodun-Boripe-Odo Otin federal constituency continued its strategic consultation in Inisa, following previous engagement in Okuku, Igbaye, Faaji, Iba, Obaagun, Aagba, Ororuwo and Ada communities.
The Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Oyetola, Prince Abdullah Adeyanju Binuyo, while addressing constituents, said the ongoing road reconstruction and several other interventions across health and education, are proof that Governor Oyetola is heavily invested in the wellbeing of citizens.
Binuyo, who lauded Oyetola for not relegating the concerns of Inisa Town, urged residents not to treat the matter of the governor’s re-election with kid’s glove.
The Chairman of APC’s Campaign Council in Ifelodun-Boripe-Odo Otin Federal Constituency, Comrade Poju Odusola, said the reconstruction of the Township Road goes a mile to show that Governor Oyetola runs a balanced government that spreads the dividends of democracy to the nooks and crannies of the state.
He called on the residents of Inisa to reciprocate the governor’s good gesture by turning out massively to vote for him on July 16.
The Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Mrs Funke Egbemode, congratulated residents of Inisa Town on the ongoing reconstruction, which she described as an erasure of unpleasant past by Governor Oyetola.
In their separate remarks, the Councillor of Ward 10, Hon. Akinpoju Olusola; Councillor of Ward 11 Olukotun, Hon. Olaoti Walter Oladosu; and Councillor of Ward 12, Hon. Babatunde Tajudeen; expressed confidence in Governor Oyetola’s ability to deliver good governance and sustainable development in Osun.
According to them: “Our governor has been tried and proven himself as a leader who is able to bring stability, order and development to the state.
“This major road that is being reconstructed is particular a source of delight to residents of this town because of the great relief it will bring and the economic possibilities it will open the town up to.
“The road connects Inisa to to towns and villages like Okua, Ekusa, Eko Ajala and other adjoining towns with whom we have economically impactful relationship. So, when we talk of development that is comprehensive in approach, that is what Oyetola brings, and that is what is deserving of our votes”, they said.
