The joint admissions and matriculation board will hold a policy meeting with universities and other tertiary institutions across the country tomorrow to decide the cut-off marks for admission into tertiary institutions for the 2019/2020 academic session.

Jamb, which disclosed this in its weekly bulletin, noted that the policy meeting would take place in Gbongan, State of Osun and would be chaired by the permanent secretary of the ministry of education.

The board noted that the 2019 unified tertiary matriculation examination’s candidates must not believe fake cut-off marks being peddled by fraudsters, as the official cut-off marks would be made public at the end of the meeting.

The board added that candidates should not also believe rumors that a candidate could have two different results released by the server. Jamb’s head of public affairs, Dr Fabian Benjamin, said such different results are not possible, while warning desperate candidates to be wary of criminal elements who are on the prowl to defraud them.
