The Nasarawa State House of Assembly says that the House has passed 237 bills into law and passed 445 resolutions in the last 23 years of its establishment.
The Chairman, House Committee on Information, Hon. Mohammed Adamu Omadefu, made this known while briefing newsmen in Lafia on Monday ahead of the official unveiling of the House 2022 Compendium, which will be happening for the first time since 1999.
Omadefu said that the unveiling of its compendium which would take place on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Ta’al Conference Hotel, Lafia would acquint the people of the state on the House activities since its official inauguration on 6th June, 1999.
He said that so far, the journey of the assembly was good, adding that the development witnessed across the State was as a result of the bills and resolutions passed and other activities of the House in support to the state government.
He said, “The Nasarawa State House of Assembly is ready to launch its 2022 Compendium this coming Wednesday, October 12, 2022, and it is tagged, ‘The Journey So Far, from 1999 to 2022.’
