
Secretary to the State Government of Osun, Prince Oluwole Oyebamiji has charged Nigerians not to lose hope in the possibility of a new Nigeria, where development, growth and life will be better for all.
Prince Oyebamiji gave the charge while speaking at the National Day Service organised by Dada Estate Bapitist Church ,Osogbo to Celebrate the 62nd Year Anniversary of Nigeria Independence
Prince Oyebamiji who recounted the joy and happiness he experienced as a primary School pupil that participated in the programme that herald Nigeria Independence on 1st October ,1960 said he is not in doubt that the Challenges facing Nigeria as a Country are summontable with prayers,cooperation and supports of all Nigerian.
The Osun Scribe maintained that ,it’s high time for all citizens particularly the Christian’s to participate in politics and see politics as a veritable means of effecting a positive change .
Prince Oyebamiji noted that Politics should not be left in the hands of politicians alone but professionals in all field should see politics as a platform to contribute to National Development.
While speaking further at the event,the Secretary to Osun State Government emphasised that it’s not by accident that a new road construction began shortly after the last Gubernatorial election in Osun ,as it’s part of the plan and promises of Governor Oyetola to Osun people.
He assured the residents of the State of Osun that all projects embarked upon by Governor Oyetola will not be left uncompleted.
He also disclosed that the prompt payment of Salaries ,Pension and Gratuities will continue, just as #1,2 Billion was recently released for the payment of Pensions and Gratuities .
In his Independence message Reverend Dr Olufemi Akano of Dada Estate Baptist Church,Osogbo charged Nigerians to always search for Knowledge,Truth and Freedom where ever they find themselves,as freedom boost self esteem, freedom is Dominion.
Highlight of the programme was the special prayer offered for the Government and the people of Osun as well as Nigeria at large.
The royal ambassador Band of Dada Estate Baptist Church,Osogbo also had a Parade at the event.
