With a view to keeping players in good shape ahead of the resumption of the Nigeria National League (NNL), which is rumoured to begin this month, 3 warm up matches have been lined up for Osun United this week.

A statement by the management, through the Team Manager, Kabiru Adekunle indicates that the friendlies have been approved by the Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Hon. Yemi Lawal.

The first match will hold on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at the team’s training ground, Osogbo Government High School, Along Iwo Ibadan Road, Osogbo, beginning from 3pm.

The team will on Thursday, February 6, 2020 be on the road to Akure, Ondo State where they will slug it out against Rising Stars FC at the Akure Township Stadium.

The Omoluabi Giants will also trade tackles with Akure City FC, 10am on Friday, February 7, 2020 at the Akure Township Stadium, Ondo State before departing for Osogbo the same day.

According to the management, the good form of the Omoluabi Giants before the league went on break should be maintained for the team to finish high at the end of the season.

Osun United remain 4th on the log of NNL group B1 with 3 wins in 5 games and will play host to the 2nd placed Gateway United when the league resumes.
