Legal practitioners have expressed divergent opinions over the Kano emirate controversies due to the recent appointment of four new emirs by the state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje.
Speaking with OSBC news reporter, Jamiu Omoniyi in Osogbo, barrister Muyideen Adeoye noted the governor’s claim that the court order restricting the appointment came after effect.
Barrister Daud Ajetunmobi in his own view described the governor’s action as contempt of court noting that the governor had prior knowledge of the court restrictions.
