The state government of Osun has allayed the fears of workers concerning the issue of modulated salary structure, saying that such era is gone for good in the state
Supervisor, Ministry of Information and Strategy, Mr Adelani Baderinwa, who made the clarification in a release stated that it is untrue that the state government intends to return to the era of modulated salary.
The immediate past Commissioner maintained that the alleged misinformation emerged from some individuals and members of the opposition party who were trying to incite the civil servants against the state government on payment of salary.
Mr Baderinwa recalled that Governor Gboyega Oyetola had during the presentation of 2019 budget declared that the era of modulated salary payment is gone, reaffirming that the governor is still more committed to his statement of striving to pay full salary to civil servants.
He reminded the public that the governor, who was a former Chief of Staff, had successfully managed the labour unions, and as a result, Osun recorded smooth and friendly government-workers relationship.
