The Osun State Government will tomorrow hold the final of the third edition of annual Independence Day Essay Competition.
The yearly contest, which aimed at bringing out the ingenuity of Osun indigenes in secondary and tertiary institutions, is organised by the Ministry of Regional Integration & Special Duties.
The programme will be held on the 1st of October 2022, which is the Independence day at local government service commission conference hall.
Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, is expected to lead other dignitaries and government functionaries to the event.
Recall that the state government had said Osun’s choice to celebrate the nation’s Independence with an essay competition for youths in secondary schools and tertiary institutions was to demonstrate his administration’s commitment to building the teeming youth population for future leadership
