Suspected armed robbers have shot dead a commercial motorcyclist, known as Ayomo, in Erin Osun, Irepodun Local Government Area of Osun State.
They robbed him of his new motorcycle. After which they took his life. some residents of the area found Ayomo’s corpse behind Kabello filling station in Erin Osun.
Sources suspected that the deceased might have been deceived by his killers on the ploy to hire him to convey them to a nearby town. An anonymous commercial motorcyclist in the town, said a lot of his colleagues had been victims of armed robbers in the past.
Ayomo’s corpse was taken to the Ojutu Police Station in Ilobu by some of his colleagues.
the Public Relations Officer, Osun State Police Command, Folashade Odoro, who comfirmed the incident said it was being investigated in order to apprehend the perpetrator of the evil act and to bring them to book.
