As the governorship and house of assembly elections slated for tomorrow gathers momentum, Osun State Police Command has put all necessary security arrangements in place to ensure hitch free assembly election in the state.
According to a release by the state police commissioner Abiodun Ige there will be restriction of vehicular movement from 6:00am to 6:00pm, noting that the restriction became necessary to forestall any act capable of causing a breakdown of law and order in the state during and after the poll.
She urged electorates to go to the polling units along with their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) only and to be law abiding while exercising their civic right without any breach of electoral law.
The Osun State Commissioner of Police (CP) enjoined members of the public to cooperate with the security agents as they have been tutored to observe human rights and discharged their duties professionally before, during and after the elections.
