The management of Osun United congratulates one of the board members of the club, Mr. Rotimi Dunmoye on his elevation to the position of Acting General Manager, State of Osun Sports Council.
In a statement by the President, Chief Ademola Adesina on behalf of other members, the management describes Mr. Dunmoye as an experienced sports personnel, who understands the nitty gritty of sports administration and development.
“The appointment of one of us, Mr. Dunmoye is a welcome development and we congratulate him. Apart from participating in sports for several years, Dunmoye possesses the administrative acumen to head the Sports Council where he rose through the ranks.”
*We therefore call on all staff members, coaches, players and all workers to cooperate and support him with prayers to be able to paddle the canoe of the Council to a praised estate,” concluded the statement which was made available to newsmen by the Media Officer of Osun United, Tajudeen Amodu.
The management also lauds the Immediate past General Manager, Mrs Oluokun for the unprecedented achievement the council recorded at the National Youth Games and the National Sports Festival during her tenure, where many Osun athletes gatecrashed into the world of reckoning in various categories of sports.
It would be recalled that the Head of Service, Dr. Olowogboyega Oyebade on Monday, May 11, 2020, approved the deployment of Mr Rotimi Dunmoye as the acting General Manager of the council following the retirement of Mrs Lola Oluokun.
