Governor, State of Osun Mr Gboyega Oyetola has charged officers of finance and budget at the local government to be proactive and innovative in their activities as government rely on them to impact masses positively.
The governor who spoke through the head of t service Dr. Olowogboyega Oyebade called for new approach to budget planning to meeting the yearning of the people at the grassroots.
Dr. Oyebade who disclosed the readiness of the present administration to focus on people oriented projects, enjoined officers at the local government to see themselves as engine room of any development.
In their separate remarks, the chairman local government service commission elder Tunde Adedeji , Osun state accountant general Mr Sunday Igbaroola and PS local government service commission Mr Kayode Afolabi noted that adequate budgetary is the success of any government, hence the need for the officers to put in their best for the success of the government.
